If you are infamously “cheap,” then stay clear of making the premiss that the rest of the world is cheap, too. Believe this or not, but not every comsumer spends huge amounts of time just to locate the lowest price for something. Take a look at watches, for example, there are cheap and high-priced watches. Products priced in the upper stratosphere have been known for a long time. So then you realize that if these companies can survive for that long, then clearly people are willing to pay much more for them. We can only imagine why a person is willing to pay $10,000 for a timepiece. If what you sell can be sold at a premium, then do not hesitate to ask for a fair price for it. The important thing is for you to understand the selling psychology behind expensive items.
Every now and then you may get a concept for something and perhaps believe just about everyone who views it will want it. We all have at one time or another. On the other hand, over the years there have been a few products that seemed to appeal to everybody. But there has never been something from a single company that everybody on the planet bought. What you’ll need to be careful about is when you have that thought it will make you sluggish in your promotional efforts. If you begin to picture your product will be universally liked, then that will lead you down destructive paths. Not everyone will want to buy from you, or your product or service.
